Please play nice Jimmy Jack!
Expecting an american to defend democracy is as fair as parking in a 'handicap parking space'.

Democracy isn't the problem, it's americans who use the work to describe their political process.

See, democracy literally means 'people power'; and at best America can hope to pass that farce off as 'representational democracy', but it isn't even that.

Sure, you get those 'mouth-breathing', flag-waving, half-wits who point to the phrase 'we the people' in some document they believe to be important, but for all the good it does them, it may as well be used to wipe the arse of those few fat white guys in which power is placed.

It's not 'we the people' it's: 'we the arms' manufacturers', 'we the junk-food peedlers', 'we the pharmaceutical cartels', 'we the oil billionares', 'we the political dynasty of psychopaths and simpltons with our fingers so many pies that 'conflict of interest' is summarily dismissed at the start of each day as "for the little people" - we are above the law'.

A little over a hundred years ago a soon-to-be American president characterised his ideas of what U.S.A. foriegn policy should be as "speak softly and carry a big stick". Now, George Bush jr (with his eyes so close together [probably all that inbreeding!], that it seems to highlight how difficult it is for his deal with two concepts at once) can only comprehend the 'big stick' part. (I must add that America owes Africa for the 'speak softly/big stick' proverb, as well as for it's cheap source of labour, and now, a good number of the poor bastards who get shot in their wars). To say to the world that "You're either with us, or against us", that every other country is just supposed to go along with whatever 'armed rampage' george bush jr and cronies dream up, just stretches any sympathy the world feels for those kill in the world trade centre.

America took their troubles to U.N. and didn't get an immediate 'green light' to do whatever they wanted, so they just ignored the process, but if they hadn't asked and got turned-down, the world wouldn't have legal basis to say "GEORGE BUSH IS A WAR CRIMINAL", and that also applies to whatever puppet master who has they hand up his arse, don't try to tell any of this is his idea, I have $100 that says he can't even tie his own shoe-laces. But what does america care about its numerous war crimes? America seems to hold the United Nations with such contempt, it surprising they even bother to turn-up. It's only the rest of the world, and a means to create consensus on legal matters that concern the world, but, no, america is too busy trying to 'export democracy' to the world. Wake up, fuckwits, it's the closest thing to a democractic process that america is ever likely to be involved in.

THERE IS NO COUNTRY CALLED 'TERRORISM', which makes it pretty hard to invade!

I've heard one after another whiny americans asking 'why would anyone hate?' (and those few that realise there are nations and governments outside america) 'Why won't the U.N. do what we want?' It's not exactly, that the rest of the world blindly hates america. It's just we don't trust you. Between faking evidence to justify war (try Vietnam, according to CIA reports, america fired on it's own ships, to pretend that it was Vienam.), and using any pretense necessary, AMERICA HAS BEEN IN 1 WAR EVERY 3 YEARS (on average) SINCE THE SECOND WORLD WAR. Every war, there's some great reason, which invarable turns-out to be fiction, or a misdirected over reaction. It all boils down to the fact that AMERICA RELIES ON WAR TO SUSTAIN IT'S WAY OF LIFE.

AMERICA IS DOING LITTLE MORE THAN EXPORT MCDONALDS AND COKE WITH A GUN, AND CHARGING THEIR VICTIMS FOR THE BULLETS
