Why Conservatism is getting us nowhere good....

Put simply Conservatism is a political philosophy that necessitates a defence of established values or the status quo.

Or, to put it more succinctly, Conservatism represents an inability or an unwillingness to change.

One dictionary puts it this way "tending to oppose change."

How ever we try to explain it, Conservatism represents a trap in which a society can stagnate. In a political sense it is more closely aligned to the ideals of Hitler and his preservation of the Aryan race than to those of the liberators in history who forced change for, what they believed, was the good of the people.

At the moment the world is run by conservative leaders who still hold up the nuclear family of the 1950s as the ideal for all. They also continue to call up the ghost of McCarthy attempting to create a fear of the Left.

I have even read recently that liberals and other leftists cannot read. This flies in the face of the facts, which show that most educated people in the world desire change and have many of the tools to push for change.

In response to the fear of the left:

So-called Socialist and Communist states are, by their very nature, so far from representing their labels that they have leapt the political boundaries. "Communist" China was a Totalitarian regime - right wing and conservative to its core. Communism in its purest sense cannot exist in a world where people desire power. Totalitarianism however, can. Vote Conservative to see for yourself.

For the sake of a free thinking society, please don't vote conservative.
